This drawing started out as a “what do those insects do with all of that string they’re always carrying off?!”
Final image - which was screenprinted as art prints.
Hatters were notoriously crazy due to handling mercury which was one of the main tools of the trade.
After doing a painting of this guy and the response it had, I thought it might be fun to revisit the linework 6 years later and upgrade it a bit for this limited run of prints.

I’ve always been fascinated by vultures. When I was in middle school, I did a drawing of one on a piece of posterboard for a report or something.

Fauna is all of the animal life of any particular region or time. The corresponding term for plants is flora.
I needed to do something new and hadn’t done one of my crazy illustrations in a while, so one evening, I took a bunch of reference photos of some things I had around. I hadn’t yet had the opportunity to draw this bear skull I acquired over the summer.
The final print was 18x28” 2 colors and limited to a run of 100 signed/numbered prints.
